Comparison of UAS-ben and UAS-HB3 (IrreC-rst) misexpression in Gal4(1407) using BEN or IrreC-rst antibodies respectively. BEN acts here as a reporter gene, demonstrating the specificity of Gal4 expression in line 1407 without altering development. IrreC-rst misexpression in the same line causes mutant phenotypes, one example of which is shown here.
